![]() They didn't mention a total of $840, or monthly payments. At no point was I aware I was signing a finance contract. I was shocked and sickened to learn that this business had baited and misled me as to what I was signing. At that time, they informed me that I had signed a contract agreeing to pay a total of $840 for ***********, with a $280 down payment, with the remainder of payments to be debited over the next 2 months. I reached out to them to ask why my card was charged. On 04/05/22, I woke up to the notification that my credit card had been charged $280 from Stretch Zone. I completed my 8 sessions and decided I did not want to continue, so I did not reach out to schedule any further sessions. I did see the transaction for $280 was charged so I did not question it any further. I signed on a small electronic signature pad and was not provided with any documentation or email at that time. She assured me that after the one month I could determine if I wanted to continue. I was not informed of any cancellation policy or anything else. She stated that the price of $280 was a special price that would be ending that week, creating urgency for me to sign for this 8 session package. After my session, ***********************, Manager, persuaded me to sign up for 8 sessions which I could use over one month. On 3/4/22, I used a free session flyer to try out Stretch Zone Longbow, the franchise location in ****, **. My 1st paid month still has 2 visits (the one they canceled and a 4th visit) I was told I could cancel at anytime and now they are refusing saying I am locked into this 3 month agreement for $600 Im finally back from out of state handling things with my sisters death and I tried to reschedule my canceled appointment through the app and was not allowed due to missed payment. My payment for the 2nd month was scheduled during the time I was away for one of the funerals but I had already discussed over the phone that I wanted to pause my membership for the next month. I had two unexpected deaths in my family within days of each other and someone at the location I attend canceled the appointment that I rescheduled. Unfortunately this place is only out for money as they cancel your appointments and you are unable to use the credits you have on your account. This seemed more reliable and cost effective than the the physical therapy sessions I was having. I purchased a StretchZone membership last month to assist with back pain and a diagnosed hip issue. I'm available for any further questions anytime. I feel I was taken advantage of due to my age.Thank you in advance for looking into my complaint with Stretch Zone. I am a 72 year old male & cancer survivor. I did not want a three month contract & expressed my denial of a $1440 charge for **** sessions plus continued renewals of $79.There was the excuse of not remembering from the manager plus subterfuge on the part of the manager.I want $960 refunded to me in addition to the already refunded $158 (2 month extension fee). He agreed to refund the two $79 charges but not the two $480 charges. I was told by the manager who I dealt with he didn't remember my request for only 12 sessions. I ONLY wanted the 12 ****************** more! When realizing I was charged for additional months & continuing fees, I cancelled my credit card & contacted them. They, Stretch Zone, continued to charge me $480 explaining that I was on the hook for 3 charges of $480 each! The guy who signed me up said I could can cancel at any time or I would have never signed up for $1440 plus $79 for additional months. I told the manager & the individual that was working on me that I wanted to cancel any additional charges after my the first 12 sessions. I knew I was starting PT the following month and told them. I signed up for 12 sessions costing $480 and did finish the session. ![]()
